BioI am an atypical Live Journal member. I am not an illiterate, teenaged loser who writes to IMpReSS SuM HoT BiatCHeS. I am not a 20-something vegan, feminist, animal rights activist who expends all of her energy writing about how terribly depressing life is. I will not write endless drivel while I recover from an evening of alcohol and pot, and then waste any intellectual faculties I might have left discussing the finer points of an irrelevant rock band that nobody has heard of.
Instead, I am a 37 year old man who is happily married with two kids. I have a successful career and am generally a happy, productive member of society. Nevertheless, I am not as one-dimensional as that sounds and am hard to place neatly in a "category". I have raised dairy cows at one point during my life and attended elite private schools at another. I can gut a deer and also read Latin.
Why am I here, you ask? Good question! I have always loved to write and have started (and failed at) many journals over the course of the years. I have decided yet again to try and stick to a journal, and I thought the convienence of having a Live Journal might make success more likely....we'll see.

I also like reading other people's journals. More often than not, I end up reading/liking journals of people who I have nothing in common with, yet are well written and interesting. If you are a good writer/storyteller and have a journal that is void of excessive memes and inane arguments, let me know. I would love to read it.
